If you are wondering what you’ll experience when you join the Thigh-High Boot Camp, this page will give you a good taste of what it’s really like. You can also find out more by watching this :
If you’re worried that this is some kind of military boot camp, you can relax straight away because it’s not! In fact, it’s a full-on dose of invigorating fun that will help you get up close and personal with your own appetite (and help you to make changes that will get you the body you want in the longer term).
If you’re curious why it’s called the Thigh-High Boot Camp, well I called it that because I am old enough to remember the Heineken adverts 😉 As thigh high boots go a little further than regular boots, I like to think of this experience as just like the famous lager : “The Thigh-High Boot Camp refreshes the parts that other boot camps cannot reach“. That’s because you’ll be getting to go beyond diet and exercise advice. You’ll be going way beyond the old chestnut of “will power”. You’ll be getting to where the real juice is : challenging your beliefs about food, learning about your emotions, resolving some of the unwanted emotions that may be driving your appetite, understanding why food has been important to you, getting acquainted with your genuine physiological appetite, learning the importance of your identity in making long-term changes, getting to grips with triggers for unwanted behaviours and setting up some supportive, new habits.
In short, you’ll be lining yourself up for long-term success.
During the course of the 2 days, you can expect to :
- Get physical now and again (this helps to get you back in touch with your body’s natural signals).
- Take part in group work and pair work.
- Learn some really useful techniques from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
- Be challenged and supported by a group of like-minded women.
- Change your mind about quite a few things.
- Totally (and utterly) ENJOY YOURSELF!
